Rajeev Ranjan was born in India. He received the master’s degree in engineering physics from the National Institute of Technology Warangal, Warangal, India, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree at the Department of Engineering, Parthenope University of Naples, Naples, Italy, in 2017, with a thesis about optical sensors based on the optical fiber and fabrication of novel fiber gratings. Currently he is working on label free biomedical non-linear imaging at National Research Council (CNR), Institute for Microelectronics and Microsystems. Prior his PhD he had work with Siemens Corporate Research and Technologies, Bangalore, India, as an Intern. Then, he joined the Laboratory of Electro-Optics System, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), where he was engaged in research on the applied optics area.
